The Effect of Yoga’s Exercises on Eldery’s Night Sleep Quality in Sobontoro Village Tulungagung
The aging process makes the elderly more susceptible to sleep disturbances, changes in normal sleep, sleep and rest. The decline in the quality of sleep of elderly will have a negative impact on health. To overcome the impaired quality of sleep, especially for the elderly one of them do yoga exercises. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of yoga exercises on eldery’s night sleep quality in sobontoro village tulungagung. The study design is a pre Experiment with the "One Group Pre Post Test Design". The entire elderly population in Boto village hamlet Kalidawir Kalidawir Subdistrict namely 99 with a sample size of 30 respondents to the technique of "purposive sampling" and using statistical test "Wilcoxon Sign runk Test" with P≤0,05 significance. Adapted to the stage of editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. The results using statistical test of Wilcoxon Sign Test runk night sleep quality in the elderly after the given yoga exercises obtained P value <α (0.000 <0.05), which means there is determine the effect of yoga exercises on eldery’s night sleep quality in sobontoro village tulungagung. Based on the above results it can be shown that yoga exercises can improve the quality of sleep a night in the elderly because yoga relaxation effect in order to increase the quality of sleep or improve the quality of sleep for the better. Suggestions for elderly suapaya perform yoga exercises that sleep quality in the elderly into a good night.
