Abstract

Stroke is a sudden brain attack that occurs in a sudden disorder of brain function that can cause disability and become a problem in the world. Contractures are complications that can arise in stroke patients. ROM exercise is one of the rehabilitation programs. The purpose of this study was to determine The Effect Of Range Motion Exercise On Mobilization Of Post CVA Ischemic Attack  in the living room of RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung conducted on April 01 - May 15, 2017. This research uses experimental Quasy research type with Non Randomized Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study were all patients post-ischemic stroke attack in the living room by using Accidental Sampling technique of 30 respondents. The data were collected using observation sheet and the data were analyzed by Paired T-Test. Based on the results of the above research, it was found that before doing active ROM exercises most respondents had moderate muscle strength score (2-3) that is as many as 16 people with percentage (53.3%), while after doing active ROM exercises almost all respondents have strength value Muscle> 3 (increased) ie as many as 25 people with percentage (83.3%) .The results of statistical tests with Paired T-Test test obtained ρ = 0,000 <α = 0.05 which means there is an effect of active ROM exercises on patient mobilization post Ischemic stroke attack in the sedap malam room of RSUD dr.Iskak Tulungagung. Based on the above research is explained that by doing active ROM exercises regularly can mengambalikan muscle strength of patients who experience a decrease in mobilization. So from this research note that ROM exercise is an alternative that can be used as a therapy to prevent the reduction of mobilization in patients ischemic stroke
