The Effect of Laugh Therapy on Student’s Anxiety of Islamic Senior High School / Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tulungagung
National final test is often be a cause of anxiety for the students. Anxiety is a frightened that is not clear related to undefinite. For decrease the anxiety that happend in students, one of it is with laugh therapy. The purpose of this research is analyze the influence of laugh therapy toward students of MAN 3 Tulungagung. The method of this research is “pra eksperimental” with ”one group pre-post test design”. The total students of XII IPA 2nd dan IPA 3rd class in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tulungagung are 55 persons, with used “total sampling” with decrease respondence 55 persons collecting the data of worried step is use the scale of Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). After that is analyzed with “uji willcoxon sign rank test” with α=0,05. The result of research was showed that there was a change of anxiety step. The results showed there was a change in anxiety level of 22 respondents (40%) who experienced severe anxiety to 5 respondents (9%). And 6 (11%) of respondents who experienced minor anxiety to 27 (49%) respondents. Statistic test wilcoxon sign rank, we get score p=0,000 with α=0,05 so p<α, so there was an influence of laugh therapy toward student’s anxiety to national final test for the students of XII IPA 2nd dan IPA 3rd class. In the result above appropriate it was showed that with doing laugh therapy can decrease students worried. So that, we hope the student can develop the eternal concept of laugh therapy for the condition although just (without cost) will make pecefull.
